It's a Fluffaaaay Day~

Okay, don't get me wrong. I know this is the crucial time of the semester (where I should be doing term papers, reviewing for the upcoming finals, finishing my projects, and other stuff) but I can't miss the opportunity to go to a zoo and watch Despicable Me-- all for free.

Fine. It was our anniversary.

Anyway, just so you know, dear reader, the last time I went to the zoo was a decade ago, more or less. I've been manning Ark Avilon Zoo in Ortigas because it was the nearest zoo in the area.

I know it's kinda weird to celebrate your anniversary in a zoo, but, hey, we enjoyed it. It's like reminiscing your childhood days where all of your fieldtrips during your nurser-kinder-prep years were zoos.

Ark Avilon Zoo is located in Ortigas, Frontera Verde Area. It's beside The Fun Ranch (that is beside Tiendesitas). It's not your ordinary jungle-type zoo. Patterned after Noah's Ark, Ark Avilon Zoo houses different animals, mostly birds. Entrance fee is P300; P200 for those people who are not taller than their ticketing office (weird rule), and free entrance for babies (12 months - below)

I really like owls. Their eyes are kinda disturbing.

We wandered in the zoo for 2 hours and decided to head to Ayala. I haven't taken my lunch yet, and it was nearing 3pm. We grabbed a shuttle heading to Ayala and ran through Glorietta.

Despicable me. Yes, that was so despicable of me.

I really like watching movies in 3D especially if the movie itself is in 3D design. No offense, but I did not like Step Up 3D because it doesn't make any sense to me. They're just dancing. What's the big deal of making them 3D? It's freaking the same.

Anyway, the movie was GREAT. I mean, the it's-so-fluffy-i'm-gonna-die part is overrated, but I'd like to say it's novel for me. I've been seeing the trailer for ages and I can't help laughing in that part.

What's fluffier than Agnes?

It's soooo fluffaaaaay!!!

Heading home, I was lucky enough to hitchhike in our operated jeepney. Sam had dinner in our house.

Now, I'm tired of doing school stuff again. Srsly, acads are taming items for me. My professors wanted to eat it me.

So long, rest days. Hello hell days.

P.S.
Sam bought me this book-- City of Bones (well, the Mortal Instruments series). I'm excited to read it but I must read other things first.

If you had read the book, give me a review! :D

Alam mo 'yun, panalo kami!

Natuwa naman ako sa sinabi ng host kanina (si kuya na overbite), "The winner will receive x-amount pesos and bragging rights."

Tama, bragging rights.

Ewan. Baka minamalas lang talaga ako.

First year- made my first violation (yes, cutting classes) just to buy a friggin' ticket at the gym. Too bad, sold-out. I didn't bother to go to Araneta and sleep there the night before the competition. Too risky.

Second year- did the same thing, but this time I used my vacant period. Too bad, again, tickets were sold-out. Tried to contact my friends from other universities (except UST and FEU, you know why) hoping they could reserve me just one ticket. Plan failed. I even befriended a student from NU just in case they don't want to watch. They're pretty nominal in the competition. I mean, they are hardly seen in the competition itself.

Third year- didn't bother to watch it live in Araneta. I even forgot the CDC itself. Maybe because of bad experiences (plus cutting classes). Blame Sam also. Hahaha.

Fourth year- ignorance. Just knew the competition the day itself. Yeah, that makes me stupid. I even planned my last year in the university: watch UAAP, especially CDC, attend the fair, eat in ChoKiss, wander in KNL, play at Teletubby Land, etc. Oh well, there would always be a next year, I guess.

I'm pretty sure that when I watched it live, UP will win. Mwahaha. Flame me but you can't burn me.

Let's go UP!
